Winds is one of the side projects of Hellhammer (Mayhem). They have released a series of original and inspired avant-garde metal albums that oddly enough never made them famous in the metal scene. Melancholic melodies, distorted and acoustic guitars, a small string orchestra and a really expressive vocalist are the ingredients of an album that is perfect company for rainy moody days. I believe that this one is their most complete album.
